Executive Committee for the year ended 31.03.2011

pass the Annual Report of the Executive Committee for the year ended on 31.03.2011

pass the Balance Sheets and the Income and Expenditure Accounts for the year
ended 31.3.2011

nominate members to the Executive Committee (EC), in place of the retiring

Elections a=

basis of blocks of academic year of the Alma Mater (w.=
r.t.
‘Year of Passing’ – the last two digits of your membership
no.) as follows :

election can be from any of the above blocks.

shall vote for all candidates by indicating their order of preference seria=
lly,
from first to last.

shall be tabulated candidate wise and selection to the EC shall be made on =
the
higher number of preferences received.
e)
No block sh=
all
have more than three representatives on the EC.
f)
Each block =
shall
be represented equally on the EC as far as possible. For this and ‘e’ above,
candidates with lower number of preferences will be eliminated.
g)
A new membe=
r will
get preference if he has polled at least 90% of the preferences received by=
an
old EC member, of that block.
2.
In case the
members standing for elections are not more than the vacancies for election,
all members will be deemed elected, and the vacancies, if any, shall be fil=
led
by the EC by nominating members.

Members int=
ending
to stand for elections should submit their names, duly proposed and signed =
by at
least five other members eligible =
to
vote, along with details of address, membership no. and the year of
passing, of the Candidate and the Proposers in a sealed envelope addressed =
to
the President – VOBA, at the Night School Office (Joe Rebello between=
6.30
and 8.30 pm) at least seven days before the date of the

other matter to be taken up at the meeting has to be submitted in writing at

attending the AGM.
