We are giving below a gist of the proceedings of the recent AGM held on 22.08.09 :

 The President's Report with the Power Point presentation (PPP) are an excellent source of information about VOBA’s activities during 2008-09. We suggest that you do a thorough reading of the President's Report, which was distributed at the meeting, since it will give you a good idea about the many VOBA events held since  Jan 08 (the last AGM)

 At this AGM, 76 VOBA members attended of which 74 voted. Of the three candidates (Imtiaz Lokhandwala, Manoj Harjani, Savio D'Silva) in the 1985-94 Block, Imtiaz was elected for a fresh three year term. This added four new members (Ronald D'Souza, Joe Rebello, Murtaza Dhariwalla, and Imtiaz Lokhandwala) to the existing seven (Diago D'Souza, Netraprakash Bhog, Manoj Sanghvi, Raymond Rebello, Saifee Polishwala, Vikram Kering & Richard Fernandes)

 The Election process was ably and efficiently conducted by Somnath Hegde with his Team of  polling agents - Diago, Manoj Joshi & Saifee.

 Over  Rs 5,000  worth  of  Souvenirs (Ties, Bags & T-Shirts) were sold.

 At the first meeting of the new Executive Committee on 30.8.09, Mr. N. P. Bhog tendered his letter of resignation from the EC, explaining that he could not devote time to attend meetings owing to his professional commitments.

At this meeting a total four members were inducted : - Bobby Jacob, Allen Martyres, Farokh Irani and Savio D'Silva.

The new EC elected office bearers and the Committee stands as follows (alphabetically) :

 The VOBA K P Jadhav F'ball Tournament was inaugurated on 25th Sept 09. Matches were held daily at Vincent’s, SRPF  &  Bishop’s school  grounds.  Finals are slated to take place on 20.10.09.
