St. Vincent's
Junior College for Science has started in the year 1978. The subjects taught
under the science steam are : Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, English
and German.
From the year
2001 a special subject "Computer Science" is offered at St. Vincent's. There
25 seats for computer science and the students of computer science are exempted
from Biology.
St. Vincent's
is also planning to start "Information Technology" (IT) in the Junior College.
But the State Government is not yet decided whether to start IT this year
or not. If a decision is made at the government level then information technology
will be started by mid November at St. Vincent's Junior College. The students
who opt for Information Technology will be exempted from German Language.
